Hi! I´m Sam,
I´m from Cleveland, Ohio, in the USA. I´ve got two sisters. They both have red hair. I´ve got a cat and a dog.
Ohio has three big cities: Columbus (The capital), Cleveland, and Cincinnati. Our symbol is the buckeye nut. We´ve got lots of buckeye trees in Ohio. We wear buckeye necklaces for good luck at American football games.
Cleveland is near a big lake called Lake Erie. We´ve got skyscrapers and three sports teams. They play American football (Cleveland Browns), baseball (Cleveland Indians), and basketball (Cleveland Cavaliers).
I went to college at The Ohio State University, in Columbus. It is a very large university with more than 50,000 students. We have an American football stadium called The Horseshoe. Our mascot is Brutus Buckeye.
We have many holidays in the USA. Some are the same as here: Halloween, Christmas, Easter. And some are different: Thanksgiving, St. Patrick´s Day, Valentine´s Day, and The 4th of July. Each have traditions that can be similar or different from the traditions here in Menorca.
